Runnin' Man

Sam called me one day after school and asked if he could stay to try out for the cross-country team.  No more thought went into it than that.  He decided to try-out just minutes before.  How's that for spontaneity!

Sam had some good races and some not-so-good races, but overall he stuck with it and didn't quit!  I couldn't have been more proud of him for that.  Overall, his time improved and he had a good experience!

And endured a mother who cheered a little bit louder than the rest... (sorry bud)
